What I do:
I joined Convene right when the company was entering into the Chicago market. I had an opportunity to build a sales force and together we would drive revenues by crafting strategies on how to expose customers to a new concept of beautifully designed meeting and event spaces in office buildings. In 2020 I now have the opportunity to oversee the team responsible for selling the WorkPlace product for our three locations.
Greatest career accomplishment:
Right in the middle of my selling career, I had to take a leave of absence for a serious medical procedure. It was keeping me from advancing my career like I wanted but during my recovery, I was offered a director job to lead the group sales team and I was back to work just three months after surgery. Just over a year later, I was promoted again to the director of sales and marketing for the two W Hotels in Chicago.
