Impressive stats:
My first year at CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, I was tasked with managing the logistics for our annual Charities at Work event. Our original venue fell through and I was given a short timeframe to find a new one and a small budget. I was able to negotiate a contract for two days with a four-star hotel in Times Square that included AV, room blocks and meals. We spent under $65,000. In addition to this, I was able to negotiate the hotel to donate a ballroom and AV for a community service event we hosted during the conference. All of this saved my organization more than $45,000.
Specific improvement I’ve made:
I led the effort to redevelop our outdated website. The original website had many broken links, wasn’t mobile or SEO friendly, wasn’t user-friendly, didn’t have clear call-to-actions and the list could go on. Our web bounce rate decreased by 70%, our web sessions and users increased by 40% and our site had higher ranks on search engines.
