How I got here:
I began working in hospitality in middle school and continued my passion at an intimate hotel in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. During my junior year of college, I also worked the front desk, where I learned and enjoyed the fast-paced environment at a hotel in Rochester, New York. I worked multiple departments and, after graduation, worked my way up to general manager and director of sales. I currently promote Rochester as convention sales manager with Visit Rochester.
Impressive stats:
I managed the top producing account segments of 2019 for Visit Rochester, translating to 32% of bookings for the organization.
What I do outside of work:
I have enjoyed volunteering with FoodLink, especially to assist those most vulnerable in the Rochester region during the COVID-19 pandemic. In my free time, you can find me attending CrossFit classes, playing volleyball, or camping with my husband and two Goldendoodles.
