How I got here:
I started with a career path in design for stage and found myself in the world of live special events during my senior semester. After an internship at the Kennedy Center and a great run with the university campaign and inaugural events, I made the move back to D.C. and settling into the world of meetings via a third party until I made the change to a single association, NBAA, in 2013.
Specific improvement I’ve made:
I’ve introduced several documents and processes that were not in place when I first joined NBAA; these have led to improving communications and creating efficiencies as our programs and team have grown. I’ve also been afforded the great opportunity to explore new meeting experiences for our members by way of pushing boundaries and design for flex meeting rooms, sponsorships offerings and our “Innovation Zone.”
