What I do:
I organize, lead and execute projects that maintain and improve key initiatives, including cross-department collaboration. Currently, I have been focusing on sales enablement while working closely with our product team as we improve our virtual/hybrid experience platforms.
How I got here:
In December 2020, I joined Nextech AR Solutions, allowing me to combine my experience in the events industry with my passion for technology. I have held different roles over the years, including project and program management, live event production, audiovisual, sales and marketing.
Impressive stats:
I implemented and managed the first public fundraising event for a nonprofit organization, which raised close to $100,000 during my tenure.
What I'm working on right now:
I am part of the Nextech AR team creating a new product that will elevate the virtual/hybrid events experience on a global scale. Also, I am committed to the work we are doing through the MPI Toronto D&I Task Force in creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive meetings and events chapter.
What I do outside of work:
Integral to my work and life is my passion and commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, especially with technology. Accessibility is a priority, and I am always looking at ways to work toward a digitally inclusive world. I am an active volunteer and am currently the Co-Chair for the MPI Toronto D&I Task Force, the Content Manager for the MPI Toronto Marketing Committee, and a member of the AVIXA Women's Council.
Beyond that, I love sports and concerts and I am an avid reader. You can find me camping and hiking with my family, playing soccer or belting out a musical theater song in my free time.
Favorite vacation destination:
My favorite vacation destinations to date include Split, Croatia, as well as staying at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Travel hack:
Besides a portable charger, one of my favorite items is my UBeesize Phone Tripod stand with a Bluetooth remote. It’s perfect for solo travel. A great item when you want a nice photo of yourself that is not a selfie.
