Associate Director of Key Accounts and Strategic Partnerships, Caesars Entertainment, Lake Charles, La.

What I do:
People connector. Relationship cultivator. Brand ambassador. Business strategist. My role is focused on developing and executing a strategy to drive meetings and events business to our collection of more than 40 hotels and resorts.

How I got here:
I learned early to be curious. I asked questions, listened and observed. I started as an administrative assistant in the catering department and have held leadership roles in F&B, convention services, catering, business travel sales and group sales.

My greatest career accomplishment:
For the past two years I’ve been fortunate to earn Emperor’s Club recognition, which recognizes the top performers within the National Meetings & Events division at Caesars Entertainment. In 2019, I was also presented the supplier partner of the year award with CWT Meetings & Events.

Impressive stats:
In 2019-20, I achieved 182% of my revenue target.

What I'm working on right now:
Recently, I was selected to participate on the MPI Meeting & Event executive advisory board.

What I do outside of work:
I love to travel and spend time with my family, my partner and our goldendoodle. I love college sports and spend time playing volleyball and softball competitively. Currently, I serve as the assistant commissioner for the Montrose Softball League Association (MSLA) in Houston and recently held executive board positions with the North American Gay Volleyball Association (NAGVA). Two years ago, I received the MSLA Jerry Award for service to our organization and community.

Favorite vacation destination:
Our most recent vacation was one of our favorites as we cruised Alaska from Vancouver to Anchorage. During the trip, in Juneau, we canoed past Nugget Falls to Mendenhall Glacier, where we trekked the glacier and explored the ice caves.

Favorite icebreaker line:
I am a bit of a hotel nerd, so I am always curious to learn about favorite hotels and resorts.

Travel hack:
I never leave home without unsweetened iced tea.
