Lauren F. Farrell describes herself as quick-witted, funny and creative. Learn more about her.
What I do: If you look at my LinkedIn profile you’ll see I describe myself as an experiential architect, designer and consultant. My passion is creating fully immersive meeting experiences that hammer home client values, ideas and concepts at every touch point. I work with clients to focus the purpose of their conferences to generate more specific and powerful outcomes. I also get to design transformative events that dazzle guests and I delight at seeing their images flood social media platforms.
How I got here: I started my career at a DMC and I loved the business, so I worked my way up the ranks and into an operations role. I finally landed in Florida, where I was able to refocus my craft to the creative side of events and so it has continued from there.
Impressive stats: I am known to increase profitability on the events I oversee directly by 5% to 7%. I have also worked to streamline our internal profit and loss and billing practices.
Specific improvement I’ve made: I have helped our company grow revenue share in the event space of our business by enabling us to bring it entirely in-house. This has allowed us to maintain more creative control and deliver something bigger and better, year after year.
What I do outside of work: I love adventure travel, take me some where remote with mountains to climb and I’m happy. I am also an Orangetheory Fitness fanatic and am currently the immediate past president for the ILEA Orlando local chapter.
