What I do: I work with clients nationwide to find the perfection location, theme and all the other little details for their events. It is common for me to follow clients throughout their entire time with CDS. I oversee all client leads to ensure everyone is working together to achieve goals.
How I got here: I joined Cothran Development Strategies as part-time help in high school and quickly was able to move up the ladder. I was promoted to senior vice president within five years and have now held the position (adding COO to my title) for 14 years.
Impressive stats: Over the past two years, I’ve increased a client’s annual revenue by 100% and increased membership 350% percent revenue growth over two years.
Specific improvement I’ve made: One of the organizations that I manage had zero meetings/events before I joined the team. Now, they have had two sold-out annual meetings, one amazing poker evening and golf tournament and host six "lunch and learns" around the state per year.
What I do outside of work: I have a five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter, who keep me busy at all times when I’m not working. We are very involved in our church. I am a former Miss Ada and am looking forward to joining their board of directors when my kids are a little older.
