In the November issue of Esquire (and on the mag's site this morning), restaurant critic and Esquire columnist John Mariani named two New York restaurants—Dennis Foy and Porter House New York—among his list of best new restaurants in America. He also chose chef Michael Psilakis of Anthos as the chef of the year.
Apart from the fact that we feel a little smug that we included both Dennis Foy and Porter House New York as two of the five featured restaurants in our business entertaining issue, all three of these eateries have private rooms and are located in business-friendly neighborhoods. So keep them in mind for meetings and client dinners, although New York magazine's blog has some choice things to say about the inclusion of Porter House.
