ATLANTA: One of the first Motto by Hilton hotels, in Atlanta, has broken ground. Two properties from the brand also are planned for New York City, and additional hotels will debut in Indianapolis; Lima, Peru; Savannah, and Washington.
DALLAS: Omni Hotels & Resorts has made multiple executive appointments and promotions. The company has restructured its sales and marketing team to report to a new commercial division, led by Andrew Rubinacci. In addition, Dan Surette has been promoted to chief sales officer; Phil Yi to vice president of marketing and communications; Dan Piotrowski to senior vice president of operations; Devin Burns to vice president of rooms and food and beverage; and chef David Harker to corporate executive chef.
LOS ANGELES: Amy Thurlow is the new president of Dick Clark Productions, which produces the Golden Globes, Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and other high-profile live events. Thurlow previously served as the company's C.O.O. and C.F.O.

MONTREAL: The World Congress of Neurology has selected Montreal for its 2023 meeting. The event will attract 7,000 neurologists from all over the world, generating 19,600 room nights in hotels across the greater Montréal area and an estimated $19 million in spending.
NEW YORK: Courtyard By Marriott New York Midtown West has opened at Hudson Yards. The 399-room property features 1,700 square feet of meeting space that can hold up to 90 guests.
