NEW YORK: Opening night of the Tribeca Film Festival, taking place April 15-26, will feature Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President, a documentary showing how the former president used music to get elected. The screening, which is set to take place at the Beacon Theater, will be followed by live performances from Willie Nelson, Paul Shaffer, and others.
Colleen Sherin has been named the new president of Coterie, according to Fashion Week Daily. Sherin comes into the job with over 15 years of experience at Saks Fifth Avenue. Most recently, she was vice president of wholesale at Alexander McQueen.

SAN FRANCISCO: The San Francisco Marriott Marquis on Monday unveiled an extensive transformation, designed in part to connect guests to the city’s thought leaders. To that end, changes made include the addition of smart televisions to the property’s 15,000 rooms, making streaming services and curated TED Talks available to guests.
