CANADA: Rise Up Calgary, Hyatt Place Toronto, NAIOP Golf, and More

AINSWORTH, B.C.: Mountain Trek, a luxury health and fitness retreat in British Columbia, will reopen to small groups next month. The fall program focuses on providing guests with anxiety management, sound sleeping, and immunity-boosting techniques.

EDMONTON: NAIOP Golf, presented by Discovery Business Park, will be hosting a golf day at The Quarry on Aug. 18. Players will have a choice to tee off between 7:30-9:30 a.m. and receive hot breakfast care of BentallGreenOak, and a hot lunch will be available on the course thanks to TCA Developments. Organizers have streamlined the tournament in order to abide by COVID-19 safety measures. 

CALGARY: In a joint venture, the Calgary Hotel Association, National Music Centre, Tourism Calgary, and other Calgary-based organizations have launched an online platform called Rise Up Calgary. It serves as a hub for event listings with COVID-19 precautions and includes events happening at drive-ins, hotel balcony concerts, and more.

TORONTO: Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre opened last week, offering easy access to Pearson International Airport. The 123-room hotel offers 12,458 square feet of meeting and event space and accommodates as many as 500 people. 

The Artisan Market will host its first summer market in Trinity Bellwoods Park on Aug. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free event offers original art, handmade jewelry, fashion and accessories, organic skincare, home decor, ceramics, wellness products, and baked goods. Organizers are implementing various safety measures to keep both vendors and attendees safe.
