On Sept. 13, the school’s student council is encouraging people to wash a vehicle, take a picture, and post it on social media with the hashtag #canadoreshinestogether. TORONTO: Toronto’s El Mocambo reopens today with a performance by rock band Big Wreck. The club has undergone $35 million in renovations; it now features a recording studio on the top floor, plus two stages for live performances as well as streaming shows, video shoots, weddings and live events, and more.
On Sept. 12 and 13, Street Eats Market is hosting the brand-new Mac and Cheese Fest from 12 to 8 p.m. Guests can try 25 different variations of the dish at the free event, which will be held at the Scarborough Town Centre. Social distancing measures will be in effect.
