CANADA: Montreal’s Lantern Festival, Casa Loma’s Immersive Halloween Experience, Bladder Cancer Canada’s Virtual Walk and More

NATIONAL: Event success platform Bizzabo has announced a new partnership with video production company Brightcove, meaning Bizzabo customers can now integrate Brightcove’s broadcast-grade streaming tech into any event. Through the partnership, event pros will have access to an end-to-end solution for designing, managing, executing and measuring the success of virtual and hybrid events. 

Bladder Cancer Canada is hosting its annual awareness walk campaign from Sept. 25-26. The event, which typically raises approximately $600,000 for the fight against bladder cancer, will take place virtually; hundreds of walkers, volunteers, physicians and researchers will participate. 

Fabiana Kulick is the new head of Latin marketing at Live Nation Concerts. In her new role, Kulick will lead marketing for Live Nation’s expanding portfolio of Latin tours throughout North America. She most recently worked at Warner Music Latina. 

MONTREAL: Garden of Lights kicked off at the Montreal Botanical Garden on Sept. 3. The eight-week lantern festival is themed around the moon this year, with three illuminated paths each with its own sensory exhibit that combines art, science, technology and emotion. It runs nightly through Oct. 31, and tickets cost $16.50 for adults. 

TORONTO: Liberty Entertainment Group’s Halloween-themed immersive horror experience returns to Casa Loma from Oct. 1-31; tickets are on sale now. The show, presented by Captain Morgan, is called Legends of Horror. It’s a theatrical interpretation of classic horror characters and decor in a promenade theater-style, where guests stroll at their own pace along a decorated 2-kilometer trail.
