What I do:
I oversee the marketing and communications team who is responsible for driving sustainable revenue for the organization. We do this by helping our members (professional speakers) ignite change in the world through products and education that focus on mastering the art and business of professional speaking.
How I got here:
In 2005, I started my marketing career with a commercial development company. Through a complicated (but fun!) journey of exploring industries including higher education, health and nutrition, animal welfare and finance, I eventually found my home in the nonprofit sector with associations.
What I am working on now:
We’re currently working on creating on overall event experience that includes a huge virtual portion (recorded video series, live virtual events over Zoom/Facebook Live, discussion boards, resources, interviews, masterminds and more).
