Impressive stats:
Six years ago, A2 (short for apartment two) was based in my living room. We have grown from a one employee small-meeting planning shop doing a couple of events per year to a well-respected destination management and event production firm. A2 is now a company with four full-time employees, more than 20 auxiliary staff, offices in South Florida and San Diego and working on more than 75 programs per year. The past two years have seen our business grow more than 100%.
Specific improvement I’ve made:
One of our association clients used the same design year after year, relying completely on hotel linens, lighting and basic centerpieces. With some creative ways of thinking through seating and F&B, we were able to introduce items like custom bars and patterned linens all while keeping a similar budget.
