What I do: I develop the planning and execution of meeting details associated with conferences and events, including accommodations, audio visual, meeting room set-ups, food and beverage and BEO requirements, production and décor. I assist in the development of workshops and selection of presenters, logistics, and solicitat sponsorships and vendors.
How I got here: My work history with Time Warner, Trinity Industries, US Peace Corps Corporate Office and Kindred Healthcare more than prepared me for what was to come as a planner.
Greatest career accomplishment: Being selected as a finalist for three consecutive years for the prestigious The Admin Awards, the country’s only public recognition program that focuses specifically on recognizing and rewarding the achievements, dedication and importance of administrative professionals.
What I do outside of work: I love spending time with my wonderful family I sit on the Leadership Board for MPI and am also the Career Café Chair. I volunteer in the community by being a Life Group Leader at Converge Church.
